The year so far

How are things going? What has changed since the beginning of the year? Are the goals you had then the ones you have now?

Take some time today to walk and think and sit and dream.

Maybe it's a good day to set or re-commit to a goal, yes?

  1. I have these stacks of stuff to go, and I’m keeping things so much tidier – thank you! Now I really need to get work on my mind… but I might need more help than this to get there. Thanks for the inspiration though – I couldn’t have got this far without your blog!

  2. Got introduced to your blog today, and am reading backwards, so my apologies for commenting on older items.
    One thing I do that has really helped with the yearly goal setting is to make an appointment with myself on the first of every month to evaluate my progress on each goal. I made up a little sheet on the computer that has each goal listed, plus space underneath to write. I put down how I’m doing on each, and the things about each that I’m having a particular struggle or success with. I can look back and see what I’ve done right, and what I need to change. The fact that I’m typing this with 10 pretty, groomed fingernails after a lifetime of biting them down to the quick tells me that this has been a pretty useful technique for me.
