Spent the early morning walking my black dog, as Churchill might have said, and seem to have shaken the doldrums by just letting myself laze in bed with the laptop losing myself in an absorbing, but not challenging project to clean out my personal inbox.
Yes, lower on the life priorities list than other things, but sometimes we need the easy win. Saying it’s now under 850 messages may not sound like a win to most folks, but it’s great news to me!
Whether that helped anything in the big picture, in the small it succeeded in distracting me out of my sad worrywort mood and that right there is enough to make the day good.
